GREAT DAY TODAY --and it isn't even NOON yet!

Saturday, September 14, 2013

Well, today is my 60th day on program, on point, doing well, celebrating life and weight loss and rejoicing in the fact that God is good!

I walked 3.11 miles today, most of it uphill...I felt like I should have just rolled downhill when I finally was heading home LOL...but I didn't! I kept huffing it, all the way home! Burned a ton of calories, I tell you!

I met a 92 year old woman who was walking FAST --with her cane, even! Told me she saw me walk every day and encouraged me to keep it up! Said she grew up without horses or cars and always had to walk everywhere she went, and that's what has done her good all her life...By gosh, I think she's right!

I met my pastor's daughter, who was walking her new puppy...he was almost as big as she is! But it was nice to see her with a new dog, her beloved pooch passed away not long ago...and the new one is a doll!

Then I met a lady named Angel who was absolutely a doll! I hardly ever speak to people when I walk, but this time I said HI and we both stopped to was weird but such a joy!

And then I went to my grandson Micah's soccer lost, headed off in the wrong direction on the freeway, had to cut back around and figure out how to get there, got a parking space just in time to see a few plays and the game ended! But he got a goal so all was right with the world!'s been a busy morning, a blessed morning, and I thank God for it!

I love living this way.....

60 Days Sober: No Overeating, No Binge-ing! Thank you Lord!
