Old vs. New

I wanted to post a blog comparing the old me to the new me.

Old me: was 211 pounds
New me: 133.4

Old me: size 18 emoticon
New me: size 4 emoticon

Old me: wore the biggest sized clothes I could find
New me: wants to wear clothes that actually fits

Old me: ate everything under the sun emoticon
New me: weighs out food and learned to say no emoticon

Old me: would eat a lot of cookies and cakes emoticon emoticon
New me: can't eat it due to a gluten intolerance, but more importantly has learned moderation

Old me: Hated to exercise
New me: loves it and does it daily

Old me: hated sweating
New me: still hates it but has learned to get over it

Old me: did not feel comfortable in my own body
New me: feels much better in my body

Old me: could only shop in certain stores
New me: can shop in any store I want

Old me: needed medications for health concerns
New me: no medications and no more health concerns

Old me: Couldn't cross my legs
New me: now I can

Old me: avoided being in pictures or positioned myself behind people
New me: doesn't mind being in pictures by myself

Old me: hated being seen in a bathing suit
New me: has plans to flaunt my new bathing suit when I am at Disney World next week.

Old me: hated running
New me: likes to run and is looking forward to running a 5k soon emoticon

Old me: was ashamed of myself
New me: learned to love myself

These are my big accomplishments for the year. You can do it too. Thanks to all of you for being so supportive on my journey to a healthier me.
