No giving up

Lots of travel, harvest, and back-to-school activities. Those were good. What wasn't good was not keeping up my exercise and eating plan. What next? Try again.

There is time now for me to exercise, plan, and cook healthy meals. The difficult part will be my lost momentum. Between eating more than I need, and exercising less than I need to, I'm feeling lazy. I know that the solution is not to keep getting lazier and eating more. I need to return to the beginning steps to improve my motivation and energy level. Today, I forced myself to walk 2 miles, I looked for inspiration on spark pages, and I logged my food for today INCLUDING those pesky snacks. The surprise there was no wonder I wanted snacks, I hadn't consumed many calories for breakfast. Lots of housework left, but my next step is to do something fun that takes me away from food--thrifting. And after that, to replace my coffee maker I miss! While I'm trying so hard to motivate myself, I need to either find ways to make my work more fun, or mix up drudgery and excitement more.
