WI this am was good...1.4 lb loss.
This week I'm glad to say that I had no major challenges. My eating habits are on the rise and getting better each day. I still have junk food and sweet craving that I hear some talk about but I crush it with a smaller version so I'm not using too many points on foods that are not filling. Exercise has been great as well. I started easing my way back into running last month. My pace and mileage is not where it was before I was injured and I'm praying one day I will get back there but for now I'm just enjoying and glad that I'm able to run.
I have completed 3 days of physical therapy and I can tell that is working. I'm sore later on in the day but by the next morning I'm feeling good (in my Jennifer Hudson's voice). My insurance only allows 30 visits per year (and they take our payment every week for it) but I have a good therapists and I'm praying that I won't need all 30 visits but for now I'm enjoying them and I know they are going to help me.
To all of the ladies out here if you have heard of BGR! (black girls run) please become a member in your area. I joined the LR group back in March 2013. I wasn't active within the group but I was getting my workouts in until one morning a friend and I was walking the track that one of the groups use and we were asked if we knew about BGR! and I said yes and that I was a member. I was nervous and scared to go out and participate since most groups had the same people to attend and it’s just something about being the new person (it’s a mind thing). Nicole (now the ambassador) was warm and inviting but she did call me out on the group page and I knew that was all I needed to get involve with some of the running and walking groups. I can definitely say THANKS to Nicole. These ladies are very encouraging, motivating and inspiring so you should check out it out.
