GOAL 4 WEDNESDAY - Increase your NEAT today. NEAT stands for Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis. Basically, it is all the activity you do in a day. Find ways to increase your activity such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator, parking further from the door, or standing up while talking on the phone. All of these burn a few extra calories and they add up.

O.K. I can do that. Another hot one here in NE IN. After today it should cool down. I'm hesitant about the cool down. I like the cooler weather, but my balance & other health issues cause me great difficulty w/ any weather changes. I can already feel the changes. I am more shaky, wobbly & anxious today. I tired very early on our walk today. Did not go near as far as we had. And am having trouble swallowing, not because my throat is sore. It's like I have to actually have to think about it. Hips, back, hands and neck hurt so much more. But, on the plus side, I woke up and am moving. So, I am grateful for that. PTL! ...... tada.... drum roll please..... I am down 4.5 lbs in 1 wk since I have been "really" trying to log my food & fitness on SP. I am proud of ME!, Even if no one else around me is or notices what I am doing... I AM PROUD OF ME AND I AM DOING THIS FOR ME! :)
