staying motivated

Sometimes during this weight loss / getting healthy journey, we all loose our motivation.
Sometimes the scale doesn't move despite all our hard work.
Sometimes we loose a few pounds overnight for no apparent reason.
Sometimes we fall of the "wagon" with a few bad choices.

But at the end of the day, we all have to remember why we joined SparkPeople in the first place.
We are here to improve our health and wellness.
We are here to get strong (not skinny).
We are here to loose weight, and gain confidence.

This is NOT an overnight journey that will immediately be successful.
This is what out "real" journey to success looks like.

Don't get discouraged after a bad day, be glad it happened, learn from it, and move on.
Don't get mad when then scale doesn't move.
Don't ever give up- you started this journey for a reason.

This is going to take hard work, dedication, and lots of mistakes. But as long as you learn from each one, and continue on your journey, you are succeeding.
Keep going. No one is expecting you to achieve your goals overnight.

Make progress. Be successful in YOUR journey!
