The Wedding Ring - Part I

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

I haven't worn my wedding ring in over 10 years because it hasn't fit.

Everyone always asks, "Well then why don't you get it re-sized?" It's a valid question.

The reason I haven't gotten it re-sized is because I feel like I'm giving up on myself. It means my fingers have officially become this size for the rest of my life, and those fingers are a reflection of the extra padding I have put on my body, which I don't want to have on for the rest of my life.

And the second reason is because I'm too cheap. But the first reason is 99% of it.

So here is part 1 of the picture of how my wedding ring "fits" right now. I'm 52 pounds overweight.

Stay tuned for the shrinking hand in The Wedding Ring - Part 2!

Peace Out,

I gained weight after putting ring on, a plain band, and now I can not get it off.
Another good reason to lose weight! Pretty ring, by the way.

Totally agree about the resizing. Never give up! Never-Ever! Always keep your eye on the goal.

Life can not stop the person who is moving forward. It doesn't have to be crazy, fast, or creative. Just simply keep moving.

You're on this! And you will knock the crap out of it. emoticon
