found a workout solution

The last couple of days my eating has been so-so... not great but not horrible either. The good news to report is I finally figured out how I can get some cardio in on days I don't want to run- yay!
Okay, so since Owen was born I couldn't really do work out videos since every time I put one in and stated he would just scream. So I gave up on doing them awhile ago. When he was smaller I even tried renting some working out with baby videos where you hold your baby through the whole thing. They'd be fine if you baby liked it- mine did not. Plus you really don't feel like you're doing any cardio since you can only move so much while holding a baby safely. They seemed like they would be great for strength though, and if you did them over time your baby gets bigger and bigger so the weight you lift would get heavier. But they just didn't work for us no matter how many I tried.
My normal morning routine is to eat breakfast with Owen then get us both ready for the day. On days I run I take a piece of toast and a piece of fruit for Owen to eat his breakfast in the stroller then when we get home I put PBS Kids on the TV for him while I eat my breakfast.
It occurred to me yesterday that I can use that same method for doing videos too. I moved his high-chair out into the living room and now I can do videos while he eats! So yesterday I did a 20 minute Jillian Michaels workout and today I did 35 minutes of Zumba. I don't know if he'll ever let me do a full hour of any of them, but at least now I'm not so worried about what I'll do for workouts once the weather turns too cold for taking out the stroller.
