Many of us don’t believe we can really make a difference in life. Many of us don’t believe we can lead others or do great things. However, God’s mercy can help us realize we are able to do more than what we believe we can do. God can have mercy on us so we can help others in ways we can’t even imagine. God’s love, power and saving grace can move us beyond our imagination and His mercy will help us lead more people than we could ever count.

1 Timothy 1:16 “But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we are underserving of all You give us. We are, however, grateful for Your mercy on us. Help us not to stop with simply receiving Your mercy but to allow You to use us to make a true difference in the lives of others. We know if you have used ordinary people in the past to do great things, you can use us as well, Lord, if it is Your will. Show us Your way today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

God’s mercy can lead to great things in us when give in to what He calls us to do.

God’s mercy can lead to great patience with others who are doing wrong.

God’s mercy can lead to great power in us to do mighty things for Him.

God’s mercy can lead to great witnessing to others who need to know and believe in Him.

God’s mercy can lead to great leaders among us when we take time to encourage and help them grow strong in God.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” (NLT)
