Today I went to the gym @ 5am per my goal of working out before work 2x/week. It's leg day, which is my favorite. I was feeling saucy so I decided to see just how much weight I could press on the leg press machine. First set I went for 255 (I usually go 200lbs on this machine). On the second set I bumped it up to 275, no big deal. On the third set I did 15 reps in good form of 300lbs! Woah. Who knew I was such a hulk?


I'm interested to see how sore I get (hopefully not too sore since I have a roller derby bout to skate in tomroorw!) and I'm excited to get back in the gym and see if I can do 300lbs for all 3 sets, or maybe more...
