Jungle Attack

Friday, September 06, 2013

One of my biggest frustrations this year has been the jungle that is my back yard. My husband and sons have been saying that they're going to take care of it, but never quite got around to it. Sooo, I went out after work and started trimming back trees that were growing over, through, and outside of our fence into the alley by our house.

My older son came out to help, then my husband and younger son pitched in when they got home from work. After an hour and 45 minutes, we made a big dent. I was sweating and breathing hard. When I went in for some water my hands were shaking. Got a little dehydrated (will have to watch that next time).

Another bonus: the exercise kept the munchies at bay and I finished the day within my calorie range. Much better than a snack attack! emoticon

It's good that you caught on to the signs of dehydration! Glad you are ok! It is a great feeling when we go out and conquer our "jungles" one day at a time. In conquering your jungle you also conquered your food cravings! Kudos! Keep up the great work!
