Well off with Miss Coco for hr spa day. I had several errands to ru n while she was there. I enjoyed my little time to myself. I went to a little local restaurant that prepares fresh and had a bowl of wonderful crawfish soup. Came home and started preparing dinner. I did a braised cabbage dish that takes up to 2.5 hours and made country pot of flat green beans and speckled butter beans. Hubby was grilling a chicken. It was really good. I am using spices and herbs in pace of salt.. When we go out to eat I can taste heavy sodium in the foods. I do love to eat out but I am giving up the fast food places which include a lot of the chains of restaurants,,,,,they are the restaurants that everyone rushes out to make reservations and stand in line to eat the food. We had dinner with some friends this weekend and they were talking about the places they will not go anymore. This is why when you check the big restaurant chains they are building less o their known chains and going to speciality restaurants

    I have given up eating out quite a bit. If we do go out, I try to do Applebees or Ruby Tuesdays and get something healthy. I have also started buying low sodium lunch meats and have cut down how often I am eating that.
