Working my butt off....

I have been full time at the kennels, and I can't wipe the smile off my face. I have learned so much about dogs. I also learned that I have a great family who took over the laundry, and the dishes, and are happy to see me happy. What else.... I have learned that moving like a wild banshee all day helps me firm up my body and keeps me dropping weight slowly but surely. I am dead tired by the time I come home. We now get a paycheck every single week, and I finally feel like a real person, being out there, doing something productive to help animals (finally, finally, I can help them directly without wishing their lives were better.... I can just make them better) and making money. Today I took my girl Julia to a mandatory meeting at work, and she loved what she saw, and they actually gave me applications for the girls to take home. I guess 15 is not too young to work at the kennels. So they were delighted that they might have a summer job working with me. My life is good right now.
