I love sushi!

Wednesday, September 04, 2013

Yesterday I allowed myself to buy sushi for lunch – there is a new "raw food" restaurant in town who sells sushi and although it is expensive it is also sooo good! I made it even more expensice by buying also a squid salad, I love the texture of the squid that is marinated or something in maybe giner... and some algaes in it too makes me feel as if I get loads of minerals I need...

When I came home after work my teve had broken, only sound no picture. Had an old "kitchen" teve that I connected to see that it really was the teve screen and not any other problem with the digital box or so... and remembered that the color has been shifting now and then for the past week so it probably was the screen that had broek... the teve is four years old and I do think it would be as expensive to repair it as buying a new... so much for sustainable thinking, I looked for ad sheets and found that a store had a discount for a teve that I could afford and went to the city and bought it... could not even wait until today when I am going to work and could have saved a trip.

But even though I cringe inside for spending that money, I am also grateful that I HAD the money to spend and I am grateful that I solved the situation immeadeately without going for days thinking about what to do.

So yesterday was an expensive day with the sushi and a new television... but the sushi made me realise that as I really love sushi it is the perfect solution for the conference I am giving a lecture at in a week or two. It is in Sotckholm and I will go there the night before because I don´t want to feel stressed. And then there is the usual problem of how to handle food when I am staying at a hotel... I have fallen for fat fast food many times or I have bought some items like roasted chicken and stuff at a food store and eaten on my hotel room and I rarely keep inside limits those times but eat a lot – and then go berserk and have extra something... and then buy extra something for the train ride home and then that day too gets bad foodwise... but I can do sushi! I love sushi, Ican bring sushi to my room or eat it at the sushi place and I can bring sushi for the train ride or eat it when I get home instead of impulsive cooking...

I really love sushi!

Me too! I've had some surprisingly nice sushi from a supermarket before, which you just reminded me of. I shall have to go and buy it again!

Me too, I love sushi, and going for some tomorrow.
Was in Stockholm a few day for vacation, lots of healthy and unhealthy places to eat.
Good Luck with finding the good ones emoticon
Today I am checking to see if the photo printer we have never used actually works.
My regular printer prints fine ,but all f a sudden it does not do photos well.
Hate to buy a new one.
    we will see.

Great idea about the sushi when you're in Stockholm.

Looks really yummy. I really enjoy sushi too. This reminds me I've not had it for a long, long time.
