5 days and counting and a new challenge

I went out for a 30 minute run tonight after I got my daughter off to school. I was helping her with laundry while she was studying so I wanted to wait until she left before I got out to run. It was a gorgeous night for a run - I didn't check the temperature but it was probably mid to low 70's. BEAUTIFUL! I hear it's supposed to get hot again. As I look ahead to Saturday I see that it's supposed to have a night of 96 degrees! YUK! Hope the morning is fairly cool while we're running our half.

I'm doing a fall challenge for my SparkOmaha team and my goal is to lose 5 pounds by October 31st. I weighed in last week on the 26th at 143.4# and have had 2 birthdays and a class reunion since my weigh in. When I weighed in this morning I was at 144# so I'm feeling pretty good that I've only gained 0.6# with all the tempting foods that I've been dealing with!
