Trying to Get Back on Track

Monday, September 02, 2013

I had a binge on Saturday and today (Monday). I hadn't been acting out like that in a while. I want to get back on track. I do not want to sabotage my efforts. I guess I have just been stressed by my new job, and wanting some type of relief, but food does not make me feel any better. It is a terrible feeling to be caught in the grips of a binge.

I will get back on track!

You said it yourself, that you were "acting out" and "stressed" by your new job. You didn't fail by bingeing, but learned that it doesn't help you anymore. You learned a valuable lesson! It didn't make you feel better at all. I'd bet you didn't even taste the food hardly. You just have to find that something to release or comfort stress to replace food. Exercise, a good book, a hot bath, anything relaxing or productive will do! You can do this!

I understand, Jax! I ate 15 cookies yesterday b/c of the intense stress I have been under myself. its ok, and you know that.... you have been doing so good with your reward meals and exercising, just think of how the binges are fewer and further between....you are phasing it out and it will continue to get better and better. You are doing amazing just focus on all your progress.

i honor the hard work you have done and am trying to use it as inspiration. i tried making the keto cups and the stevia made them have a very bitter aftertaste!!! lol. anyway. i love you and dont be hard on yourself. im working on it too.

You can do it! Just take it one day at a time and don't beat yourself up about making a mistake.

We all do that at times. You can do this, hang in there.

And please don't get discouraged if you have a small gain. Learn from your mistakes and move on. If losing weight was easy, most of us wouldn't be here. You can do this!
