Cinnamon Roll Shake

Monday, September 02, 2013

Just had to share because it was so delicious. I sucked this baby down in under a minute it was so good.

-Unsweetened almond milk
-1 cup frozen cauliflower (Eat those veggies people! You can't taste it in here, just makes the shake more creamy. I like to keep my sugar low later in the day or I could use nanas)
-chia seed
-massive amounts of cinnamon or cheat like I did and add cinnamon roll frosting flavoring

Look how happy it looks. Like its on vacation. It is actually sitting on my balcony while I watched the labor day traffic down on the highway bellow.

What an awesome idea, cauliflower in a smoothie. I can't taste kale or spinach in my smoothies, but I think that might be the sweetness of the banana. Like you I am not too keen on banana in every shake.
    Ima gonna try that.

Here is a link to purchase some of the flavors:

These definitely are not health food, just a non sugared short cut!

That's why I love to use cauliflower - it is like tofu! It takes on the flavor of what ever you mix it with. It is an extremely versatile vegetable!

Cant wait to try this. Ive never heard of using cauliflower this way. I did try it as a mashed potato substitute and it was great. I love it anyway. Thanks so much for this low carb option.

I creamed cauliflower in the blender with greek yogurt. Man alive was that ever good for a dip. another way to get a veggie.
