Trying to push the envelope

I have about two and a half months until my birthday. I would really like to lose 5 kgs before I hit 43. After careful consideration, I realise I need to up the exercise. I have been fluffing around with exercise but I would like to enact a plan to improve my fitness.

This morning I slow jogged for 25 minutes. For the last 5 mins, I tried to push it a bit. I found I could actually move a lot quicker than I thought. Yeah it was tough, yeah i struggled to get my breathing right, yeah my face was red but... I did it! So once I have finished the C25k program, I am going to restart it as interval training to improve my pace.

I am excited!

    Good for you. I found the big help with weight loss was when I upped my exercise. And I mean, really upped it. I was surprised how much I could actually do when I tried. So I upped my pool sessions to 1 1/2 hours of aquacise and 1/2 hour of stretching. And I made sure I was exercising for 7 hours a week. The trick is, eat the same and exercise more. If you find your exercise is making you eat more, be careful!
    I come home from the pool at about 8.30 and have a soup meal and then go to bed.
