Day 1/5 juicing and Dr. visit

Thursday, August 29, 2013

Hi all,

So on Tues I went to the Dr. to go over my blood test results.
My Vitamin D is going in the right direction and my bilirubin was in the normal levels but more elevated than when I was doing paleo w/ juicing. So when I juice it changes the balance in my liver :)
I told the Dr. about the hair loss and he went over the older blood tests where we had checked me for everything and noticed that even though my thyroid was within normal levels the TSH4 was on the lower end. So he recommended that we monitor it with a blood test in 3 mos.

So I had decided to start a 5 day juice run yesterday but I got stuck doing other things and didn't prepare juices .. so I started today.

Day 1 went great. I only got some hunger pangs around 5 pm but juice took care of it. Also made some broth and prepared juices for tomorrow. I am all set to go:)

Hopeful: Yep.. needed to clean things up as my weight has been stuck and fluctuating in a 10 lbs up and down. I know something is bothering me.. i am pretty sure it is the cheese, but I can't be sure. This way I clean everything and start testing to see what is the reason my weight is affected. I am always envious of people who can be vegans. I have tried and my body wants the meat. :D I will be here to cheer you on when you do yours:) Who knows, I may be joining you too. emoticon
