Week 35: BLC22 Results and Body Assessment

This week was the end of the Biggest Loser Challenge and you can see my final results below. The biggest accomplishment for me during this round was finally coming to my senses and declaring myself at goal. It has freed me up to start to concentrate on other areas like cleaning up my food choices and strength training to build lean muscle.

I met with my trainer today and I did another body assessment. I’m basically the same where I was when I last did the test mid-April. My weight was only down 0.3lbs and my bodyfat was only up 0.9%. So he said it was basically unchanged. Um, I don’t think I like that. I wanted my bodyfat to be lower. We talked about what I need to do going forward and is incorporate HIIT and when I strength train lower reps which means higher weights. I totally know everything that I need to do. The issue is that I have all the best intentions but I just don’t do it. So I’ve signed up for 4 once a week sessions with him. After that, I will reevaluate. I really don’t want to spend almost $400 a month for a long period of time. Since I really don’t spend my money on anything, I’m willing to treat myself to this. Hopefully at the end of the 4 weeks, I will feel confident and know that I have the strength and power to actually do this myself.

I look forward to see how my progress at the end of September. I hit the big 4-0 at the end of October and I really want to be at my best and look rockin. I’m going to schedule boudoir photo shoot for my DH’s birthday so I think I will be more comfortable doing it if I can tone it up a bit more.
