I had the funk last week, just couldn't go a whole day on plan, was bingeing after dinner. Don't know what got me out of it, I think it was my time of the month even though I don't have them anymore. But just realized that college football starts this weekend and I promised myself last year that I would fit in the seats better this year. I kinda kept that as I am down 28 lbs. But I now have incentive to get my arse back in gear. Hope you find yours soon!

    Much success on your journey!

Spent most of my life feeling like this, so I feel your pain.
    Want two book suggestions?

Brain Over Binge by Kathryn Hansen and

Shrink Yourself, by Dr. Roger Gould

I hope they can help you as much as they have helped me.

Been there and done that. I had a breakdown last week, stating I quit and that I was just destined to be fat for forever. Not so!! It's just a day that you need to vent and get it out there!!

Cry if you need to, sulk for a while but then when you are done get right back on the wagon. Wishing you much luck and sending lots of hugs your way. emoticon

A great tool on Spark People is the nutritional tracker. Getting in a good habit of writing everything you eat down is the best way to approach a new healthy lifestyle! Don't worry about calories for now, just tracking! Once you get the hang of it, you will start swapping unhealthy for healthy. Slow can do it!
