Gotta get to the other side of this...

Thursday, August 29, 2013

This week I have been struggling with the outfall of a very, very bad week at work. I've been working my tail off and even ate lunch at my desk yesterday to ensure no one had the perception of me not being present and working (although I'm pretty much required to be everywhere all the time). In the past two weeks processes have changed, everyone has been swamped (including me) and the negativity and just plain evilness has gone through the roof! I just agonize every minute of the day until I can get out of here and get home to do anything else...

When I do get home its time to put the mom and household manager hats on to ensure my teenager and four year old are attended to, plus try to clean up the house a little each day to prevent it from becoming a disaster area. My husband and I continue to stay in our routine (function but not much more because we're so tired). Dinner, about 30 minutes of TV and then bedtime.

I feel myself starting to have a depression attack but refuse to let it alter my eating habits - even though I know the stress will mess me up regardless. I just have to get through this although I don't see anyone standing on the other side to throw me a lifeline at the moment. So much more going on besides this but not enough time to write it down...just feel really weighted down with absolutely no support from friends or loved ones...

I am however thankful I have Sparkpeople...its feels like you're all I have right now
