Boe got his Tattoo tonight

Thursday, August 29, 2013

What a long day.. started with bad thunder storms last night, and all day it rained .... We are lucky we are on a hill.. a bunch of people we know got flooded today. Including my friend Ashley and my ex husband.. neither really bad .. don't think either lost anything. The kids were all left out of school 30 to 45 minutes late due to impassable roads.
Boe's tattoo he got tonight in memory of his close friend that hung her self last year. He did really well getting it.
I am watching my great niece and nephew again this weekend, so that is a little more to add to Christmas money. Every little bit helps.
I saw the NP today , she is happy with the way my sugars are for the most part, although she added Metformin a small does, just to help with my AM sugars. So now that is 3 pills and 2 shots a day and 3 times checking my sugar.

Day 2 of week 1
Tue: Sugars 162,115,193,153
water: 12
walking: 52
meals and snacks :5

It's late and I am exhausted good night everyone Keep Sparking

What a good job you're doing on your blood sugars. Keep up the god work. Glad nothing serious as a result of the flooding. HUGS

Tattoos do help! I have over a dozen and each one carries a special memory for me. The font is really nice on his. Tell him that washing it with blue Dawn and Aquaphor (not sure of the spelling) will help with the healing and help keep the color.

Good job on the sugars. That is a job in itself!! Have fun with the little ones!

I have considered getting a tattoo, I want to do my children's foot prints across my back with the words "I will always carry you" above them and their names and birthdates under them
