think I'll have to settle for arrested development

Wednesday, August 28, 2013

And I was totally referring to the fact that the hotel is going to turn off internet access for a sorely needed upgrade at midnight, and my scribbling of this blog and other sparky endeavors is going to not leave me enough time to squeeze in an episode of Orange is the new black or House of Cards on netflix, but a 22 minute slice of Bluthian absurdity might just do.

and then I realized that, hey, it fits this particular episode of the BLC 22 challenge, too, where the plan to lose 7 pounds failed miserably, and instead I gained 5. But I gained 7 pounds within the first 8 weeks and have stayed even-ish and a bit lower over the past 4. So at least that's not trending dangerously. I've also arrived at the end of this round in a far different place than the previous round, where the lack of contact did hurt me as far as staying in line. This time around, that won't bother me.

blog was meant to 'reevaluate goals', and upon further review, the goals are still solid, it's the adherence to them that are lacking. As i indicated the past month was better than the two (4?) before, and now it's time to actually return to a pre march mindset, it could happen.

Hang in there! I think looking back over my history with weight loss, I just need to stagnate sometimes and just... sit where I am, in order to pick up & keep losing again.

Staying in hotels a lot can't help!
Hey, if the internet is down I guess you'll just have to go to the hotel fitness center! emoticon Hehehe. Whatever works.

Yup . . . sometimes we have to step back & look @ what we're doing (or NOT doing) and switch things up a little.

Good that you took the time to reevaluate your plan and goals - so many of us don't, and yet complain when things aren't going well.....
