3lbs in 3 Weeks?

Tuesday, August 27, 2013

Well, I took time today and re-read some of my old blogs. I still have a lot of the same issues but that sort of makes me feel better.

I know I've been hitting the sugar free chocolate too much and I don't always get more fat than protein but I'm working on it. I feel good that I have some progress. I am nervous though because we're going to the State Fair on Saturday and I hope the sweets don't prove to be too tempting. I will get the sausage sampler, 1lb bacon on a stick, pork chop on a stick, and maybe the strawberries and cream (but mostly cream).

I would bring some fruit with me . Share half of theother stuff. I believe in one treat a week if you really crave something.
One day cheating a bit won't kill your diet, that is of course if you don't pile on too many calories.

    LOL! "Things on sticks!"

Make sure you eat well before you go, stay hydrated with lots of water, and then enjoy the heck out of your pork paradise!

In a weekend or two I'll be making my annual pilgrimage to our local Renaissance Festival, where I shall partake of giant smoked turkey drumsticks. Mmmmm. Can't wait!
