Life Transformation

This week I decided that i would do oil pulling. I have gained 20 lbs after losing 20. So i am back where I started. I have been so disappointed in myself. Feeling the weight around my body and the pain in my joints reminded me I didn't pick up the ball when i dropped it. I needed to detox. Detox my mind, body and soul. Yesterday, I got up and did oil pulling with coconut oil. I didn't really know what to expect. The instructions I have read were to swish the oil in your mouth for 20 minutes and do not swallow because the solution becomes toxic due to it pulling the waste out of your mouth. So, i swished for 10 mins before I had to spit it out. I was surprised at how clean my mouth felt even before i brushed my teeth. I brushed after that and my mouth felt just as clean as it did after oil pulling. (yes, I do brush properly) Then I decided to pray. I am Jewish and working on praying from the prayer book more consistently and sincerely. Well yesterday's prayer was awesome. I think it was because of the oil pulling. I felt so clean, my mind felt clear and i believe the vibes continued on during the prayers. I also decided to water fast. I had about four glasses of water and made it until 2 PM, when i made homemade hummus for the children. They loved it and so did I. So, yesterday I did two things that i never tried before that was healthier than other choices I have made in the past. Oil Pulling and homemade hummus. If you want to learn about oil pulling you can watch this video----> youtu.be/-2B2pXij0zU And if you want to try homemade hummus watch this-------> youtu.be/sEHLqzLv7S

I was grateful for the strength the Most High gave me to try something new and to pick the ball back up and try choosing a healthier way to live once again. Pray for me and I will be praying for you! emoticon
