Ooops!! Forgot to blog yesterday.
Up a pound this week -- The bad food choices finally wreaked their havoc.
Hopefully it is mostly water retention, I had way too much salty stuff last week. I'm hoping to do better this week, but it really hasn't started off too well. Too much sodium today.
Last week's goals ---
Continue to drink my water and do it earlier in the day so I don't have to get up at night.
I am getting my water in, but still not as early as I should.
Continue the cardio exercise streak of at least 10 minutes a day.
This one I did well with, although there were a couple of days when I was tempted to bag it, my streak is still going.
Stay midrange in my nutrition guidelines or at least under the high number. With the weight loss, my BMR went down 10 kcal, so I lowered the top number by that amount. Watch the fat, carbs, and sodium intake.
HAH!! Did hit range a couple days, but the high end, not the middle. Even though my BMR went up a bit with the pound gain, I will keep the top end where it is and not raise it.
Watch my portions.
I watched them, all right -- right down the gullet.
Continue to take good lunches to work
Did manage this four out of five.
Cut out the poor snacks at work, take fruit and string cheese. Cut down the diet cola.
Working on it, not too successfully...
Get more sleep, bed by 11 p.m.
Managed a couple nights, in fact, one night I went to bed about 9:30. And then --- 4 a.m. potty break, still pretty sleepy --- until my head hit the pillow. About 2 hours, some knitting and some reading later, I finally got back to sleep... GRRRR!!!!
Get some more yard work done!! Mowing again, need to trim and weed to get ready so that the yard looks decent for Labor Day weekend. There will be an all-school reunion in town that weekend, so I need to spiff it up a bunch.
Yard work is still in progress. Got a bunch of weeds pulled and grass trimmed, but there is always plenty left.
And shovel some dirt - a wheelbarrowful every day...
Since these goals don't seem to be working well, I will list only four this week, two of which I have been achieving consistently.
Drink the water.
Keep the exercise streak going.
Work on the sleep issue.
Mow the darned yard!!!
