This month was just crazy.
I tried a bunch of new stuff and some worked some I am still working with. Grrr Armband, we are having a love/hate relationship.... I love to hate it. But.. I need to keep with it as I am seeing some trends that will help me.
My gym has fallen off track - again. I went this morning but haven't been in weeks.
My running is on track - yeah! I have at least kept up my running schedule. I ran a 4 mile race August 17th, under an hour, and had a great time. Slow but felt pretty good, it was really really hot.
I made my 5mile long run last Saturday.
I have been busy with house stuff (flooring sucks - but I am done for awhile - yeah!) I have painting, trim, and some shelving to finish up then I can hang up the heavy duty house stuff and get back to the fun decorating stuff.
Students are back at work so work is crazy but should start to settle down. My class is off and running.
I almost have the kiddo's outfitted, supplied, and back in school (Sept. 2). With them back on a schedule - I can get back on mine! Come on September!!!
My diet was doing fine until last week - then I just made myself sick. Stupid gluten. But I am off caffeine! I can tell the difference, my energy levels are back and I am not tired all of the time. (well except today - we had some storms move through last night and it is HOT and MUGGY, yucky sleeping weather.)
This week I am back a the gym, today:
Tomorrow it's an easy 2 mi. I have lost my morning light so it's time to get off the roads in the morning. During the week I am back to running at the 1 mile civic center loop or the treadmill.
Saturday's I can wait until the sun comes up before I hit my long runs.
I am in desperate need of a yoga class that works. I am eyeballing the budget to see if I can work back in a studio membership or a class or something. I need to escape my house to get a good yoga in; too many people, dogs, and messes to fully embrace the mellow.
My next 1/2 is in October and I really would love to take some weight stress off my body. So time to wrangle those food choices.
I am on track today:
breakfast - egg roll up
snack - greek yogurt
lunch - turkey roll up
I have even avoided the donuts and goodies out on the counter.
My protein bar is up next.
Dinner - chick & broccoli
I want to finish August strong and have an on-track September. Plan Plan Plan!
