Miracles DO Happen

Thursday, August 22, 2013

Watching a loved one slip away only to revive (on their own) at the last moment not once, but three times is horrifying.
To see that person rally and then lose vast amounts of blood over a short period of time is devastating.
To have a team of professionals work relentlessly and do all they can with the restriction of no surgery and no resuscitation order is humbling to see.
However nothing is more uplifting and miraculous than after 11 blood transfusion, your 92 year old Grandmother is up and walking/talking and able to go home after a week of hell.
That is a miracle and they do happen.
I am so thankful it did.
There are no guarantees in life, she may leave for a better place at anytime.
I am so thankful to have her just a little longer here with us.
Thank you all for your support, and prayers.
