new attitude

Its my sunday and wed for all . I made breakfast for my brother and my mom , breakfast burritos which in my opinion is a bit healthier than having them go through mc donalds

I did a load of laundry and I went to walmart and picked up some chicken , celery and carrots . Chicken Dumpling is whats for dinner and lunch for work for the next 2-3 days . Lately I have been wanting soups and it gave me a reason to use my new crock pot .
I found the recipe on all recipes.com , I love that site. I have yet to test out , spark recipe, nothing has stood out to me yet

Right after this I am going to workout and get my cardio in and yoga . my workouts are random , I know some people have a set schedule of what they do but my new attitude now is just to focus on a healthy activity .

I found my camera and the battery is charging so chicken dumpling and my cardio sesh ,sweat self after will be my picture for monday emoticon

Sounds gross but I love seeing how soaked my shirt is in sweat ! Totally feel like i did something great.

I watched my friend the other day drill into her child that she needs to lose weight and exercise and i kept my mouth shut bc I did not have to cause a fight but it broke my heart and here i am as a adult i feel the same way about exercise . then it got me thinking. !

If I want to inspire my little nieces and nephews to exercise and have a healthy lifestyle I have to show them that it can be fun . Sounds dumb right like we should already know this .
After sitting there and thinking and watching my niece kick a ball around with out any excitement and having her mother yell at her.

I got up and kicked the ball to my niece ran around with her got her to challenge me in making goals and she got into it and we both kept battling it out trying to see who would score the most goals and ha i did get a bit serious and so did she . i was laughing to my self but she did end up having fun and it was a great sweat session . we even went for a walk/jog around the entire field.
I asked her if she could show me stretches that she does during practice and she showed me. and I was one proud aunty and proud of my self.

The kid asked me when i would practice with her again , i told her next tuesday i'll take her to the pool to swim around ..

Anyways , hope all has a great day !

i was a heavy kid and my dad made exercise a "have to" thing. 1 summer i started running/walking with my younger brother and we did well at motivating each other making it a game.
