Just trying to determine if it is worth the money and how people really like it?? Can anyone out there give me some info?? One of the areas that I am most interested in at this point is how accurate it reads sleep patterns and if it syncs the correct amounts (or close to) with Spark??

Your blog has prompted me to finally look at this item myself. I'm not sure what the cost of them is like in the US but here in the UK you can easily spend £100 ($160) on one.
I hope you find one that is helpful to you.

I have had one for around 5 months, I love it. It tracks very closely with Spark on what you have eaten. The only problem there is if you delete a food from Spark it may still show up on your fitbit. I have found I have to delete them from fitbit too. The sleep thing is wonderful. It shows how many times you have been awakened at night, how long you actually slept, the only thing you have to do for that part is manually enter the time you went to bed and the time you got up. They measure flights climbed, when I walk uphill, stairs and I think it counts getting up and down off of the floor in that too. Love the Badges, you get those when you hit milestones, like 10,000 steps, 25 flights climbed, etc. And, it gives you little comments during the day, like "Step it up." They are very nice, I had a pedometer too and it was not nearly as accurate. I also hated the set up for the pedometer, and I have a heart rate monitor that has the step thing on it too, but I never set it up as it was just too hard, so it was never really accurate either. I think you would really love the fitbit. I have the body bugg too and I like the fitbit better. For one thing, once you buy the fitbit you don't have to pay a monthy access fee to the website like you do with the body bugg. Free and easy is a huge plus with me.

Yes, I do have one and I do love it!
As for the sleep tracking, I haven't used that feature. Mostly because I have a 7 month old who still wakes me 2 times a night! I know my sleep sucks, lol!

If you have any other questions, let me know!

I have had mine for about 45 days, and I really do like it, see I usually say I love it, so I am holding back some, I waited at least 8 months before I broke down and bought it, and so very happy with it,
I used a good omron pedometer for about 3 years or so happy with it too, but of course I had to set it up myself, measure my steps, time etc, and it does keep 7 days record of my steps, aerobic steps, miles walked and calories burned. not sure how accurate that is, but my fitbit is more accurate in my steps, when I shuffle around with the pedometer, no movement,
my fitbit counts stairs, not sure how many steps is a stair, so, I think it does not give me all of mine, not sure
my fitbit talks to me, emoticon
when I get in bed, I set it for sleep, put it in a elastic band around my wrist, and it says how long I am awake, when I get up, when I am restless, I think it is pretty accurate, but, I know I lay very still when I am trying to go to sleep, so I don't bother my DH, so, perhaps I am awake more than it says, (not sure)
it gives me awards, I just got my 250 mile award,
I dont know, I like it, hope you get more comments on it, and if you get one, hope you like it alot
