More Running, House, and Eating Updates

Warmed up for 10 minutes, ran-walked in 3:1 ratio for 45 minutes with running speeds from 5.5 mph to 7 mph, and then cooled down for 10 minutes. Felt really good.

Did my first Flylady "Weekly Home Blessing" with seven chores to do for 10 minutes each. Six of them went great; the vacuum breaking down was a bummer, though. I was sweeping like mad when I realized said vacuum was depositing as much as it was picking up. May be time for a new one.

I do really, really like living in a cleaner and more orderly house. At one time I thought I had time to exercise OR clean house. NO! I can do them both. I have a little extra time this week to detail clean because son-in-law has some comp. time off work and I have no child care today and tomorrow.

Doing good so far today and tracking, too. Not as hungry as some times. Just about to fix a good, healthy salmon supper. Went grocery shopping with hubby today and took a week's menus with shopping list to the produce stand and the grocery store. Well, he did his usual thing and was ready to go. I'll need to go back. It's okay. I'm just delighted to have made the commitment to a very healthy week of eating and I'm feeling quite confident I can do it!!

I was hoping to be down a couple pounds from vacation weight, knowing I'd been eating too much sodium. I was down, but only .2 pounds this morning. Oh, well. I truly am not discouraged. The days of letting the scale discourage me are long gone! I'm going to eat healthy and be happy and the scale will catch up!!
