Back From Vacation

Third vacation of the summer is over (a week at my parents') and I'm glad to get back to normal life. I didn't get to my workouts and I only walked two days, but it was much lighter walking than I usually do. I ate pretty well, except for last night when I got home. There was no food in the house and I sort of splurged because I was starving. Not good. But for me, a 3 pound gain over a week-long vacation is a step in the right direction. I always gain weight on vacation, so keeping it to such a small amount is amazing.
Now that I'm home, it's back to business as usual. Job hunting, strength training, my daily 3-4 mile walks, and tracking food on Spark. It will also help that my husband comes home today--I always eat better when I'm preparing meals for the family instead of just myself.
Speaking of meals, I guess I should go find some breakfast before the baby wakes up....
