How is August almost over?!

I started this month by focusing on restarting Sparkpeople and taking better care of myself. I've been more cognizant of what I'm eating and how much I'm moving, but I'm still stagnating. I've barely exercised this whole month. I'm also getting derailed too frequently.

I've been reading "The Spark" and I just had an aha moment. I finally understand the Sparkpeople program. I need to focus and trust the program. I've been thinking about what my fast break goals should be and I'm having trouble narrowing it down to 3. I thought for a moment that I would just have 4, but I need to relax, trust the program, and avoid over-committing.

I'm still playing around with what I want my fastbreak goals to be, but I want to post them officially tomorrow.

    Believe me, it is *so* much easier without over commitment. I only JUST started going to the gym this past month. My main focus at first was just to eat within my calorie range, and if I felt up to it, walk my dog everyday. Who would have known that is the bulk of what I did for the majority of the time I've lost. As time goes on you'll want to do more, and you will. :) Good luck!
