Back to Healthy Routine

Yesterday I ran at the resort. Both treadmills were busy, so I ran two miles outside with my Garmin first. Around 7:15 it was starting to get hot and a TM was available, so I did 5.5 more in the A/C. My HM training is on schedule! This next Saturday is group speed work -- half mile repeats. Following Saturday is 9 mile group run. In between I'll get 2 other runs per week for 45 minutes each. My next HM is Nov. 9th.
Got home around 3pm yesterday. Dog was happy to see us and neighbor kids happy to get paid for caring for her. They fed and walked her for the full week, although Dear Daughter stopped by to supervise for the first 4 days. Fish all survived and the two smallest ones had grown and developed more color.
It was great to come home to beds made, floor mopped, counters clean, etc. Also, while we were gone I had DD go through and take care of boxes and boxes we've been keeping for her since she went to college in 1999. I now have more room for our stuff so that makes organizing easier!! Still have a lot of kids' toys, but we still need them.
Now it is time to get back to Flylady and continuing to improve this house. Also, need new carpet and living room furniture. Soon.
Not that I quit Sparkin' on vacation, but it is time to recommit to the healthiest lifestyle I can achieve. Definitely haven't done as well eating as I have running, but it is not terrible. SparkFriends may be tired of reading about me and my middle 3 (weight in the 130's) blues and my middle 2 successes. Well, it's middle 3 today, up 2 pounds from when I left for vacation. (Thank heavens that middle 4 that shocked me at the science museum was just wonky. I kind of knew it anyway, since it showed Gwen as 44 pounds when she's more like 32 and it weighed both girls at 66 pounds when they are closer to 86. The point of the display was to show how people weigh differently on different planets -- not an accurate weight.) I will have a middle two within one week I predict, but if not, I'll keep working on it until I do. May not make it to 126, but definitely will get to 129.
