Not really a good week for eating healthily, but I managed to hold the weight line.
The chocolate monster attacked big time, but hopefully it is vanquished for the next week. I had an out of town meeting on Tuesday, so that was my high calorie day (or at least it was supposed to be!). It was later in the week that I had the chocolate attack which lasted several days. The past couple of days I wasn't much over calories, but healthy it wasn't!!! Too much fat, too much sodium...
Things that went right -- Continued with the cardio streak, continued my water streak, had good lunches four out of five days.
Not so good -- Getting to bed early enough, poor snacks at work a couple of days, fat intake, sodium intake, portion control.
Really bad -- Not enough freggies, too many empty calories, too much diet cola.
We had a big thunderstorm with lots of rain so that shoveling was pretty impossible.
So for this next week - same thing as last --
Continue to drink my water and do it earlier in the day so I don't have to get up at night.
Continue the cardio exercise streak of at least 10 minutes a day.
Stay midrange in my nutrition guidelines or at lest under the high number. With the weight loss, my BMR went down 10 kcal, so I lowered the top number by that amount. Watch the fat, carbs, and sodium intake.
Watch my portions.
Continue to take good lunches to work.
Cut out the poor snacks at work, take fruit and string cheese. Cut down the diet cola.
Get more sleep, bed by 11 p.m.
Get some more yard work done!! Mowing again, need to trim and weed to get ready so that the yard looks decent for Labor Day weekend. There will be an all-school reunion in town that weekend, so I need to spiff it up a bunch.
And shovel some dirt - a wheelbarrowful every day...
