Today I am doing some stepping back to the basics, I am getting overwhelmed by some of the challenges on one team, and I try to be perfect and I end up blowing the whole day, so I need to set a small goal I know I can reach with a little work, I am setting a goal of 10,000. steps per day and start a streak tomorrow, because today is half over. This way if I accomplish this I can at least say I did something well.

It is so easy to get overwhelmed. We can keep adding things into the grocery bag until it overflows and it all falls apart. We need to re evaluate regularly so that as we add we are removing and keeping things in balance along the way for ourselves. That way the bag holds everything and we can keep it together.

Great goal, doable, and measurable. Challenge for you. Only 1/2 or 1/4 of the day left. Why not start with 1/2 or 1/4 of the steps for the day and start the streak today. We can start afresh any time of the day, week, or month. We don't have to wait for a new day, week, or month do we?

Good to re-evaluate when things get tough. Please one is perfect....perfection is not something we should be striving for, but rather the progress we make in our lives and measuring our growth. Hugs

That is a great goal! I agree that some challenges can be overwhelming. Smart of you to step back and take it slowly so you don't fall off the deep end.
