I'm not one to toot my own horn...but I'm pretty darn proud of myself! I've been keeping an exercise log on my blogs, just so I can look back and see what I do, and how my times are improving with jogging and doing stadiums. I try to vary my exercise, I've been jogging, doing stadiums, going to zumba, and swimming laps this summer. It's hard to keep all that in mind, so keeping the log has been great.
BUT, what I realized this morning..is I have been consistently exercising for over a MONTH now. Exercise has never been my problem, it's always been my eating. In fact, most of the time, I like to exercise. Call me crazy. But I just had not been doing it, and sticking with it. I would go to zumba twice a week, and that was it. I wasn't counting my calories on a regular basis. I was having more cheat meals then I should. But for the past month, I can honestly say I have been dedicated. I've gone out to eat, but I've stayed on track, and counting my meals out (to the best of my ability). Have there been days I went over my calories? Sure. But I kept myself accountable, tracked it, and started the next day stronger then ever.
I also competed in and WON a DietBet. I signed up for another one yesterday, I'm hoping that I can do just as well in this one. It was such great motivation for me, and really kept me focused.
Anyway, like I said, I don't toot my own horn very much, but I'm feeling proud today. And this blog will be a good read for the inevitable day when I feel like I'm falling off the wagon. I've put in too much hard work this past month to EVER go back :)
