30 day end of summer challenge - day 5

Woot - TGIF!!!

Over all, the scale is down from monday! Progress be-gets progress!

Water - 90 counces - I know i definitely got to 60, had a couple other cups of my mint green sun tea, coffee

Stay in calorie range - i'm definitely more conscious of it now, which i need. Went a smidgen over yesterday, needed a little snack before dinner! So it was just a naked juice, no too terrible!

Log food each day - doing well with the logging.Luckily i havent' done too much new cooking, so the time consuming entry of my recipes isn't having to happen!

Keep workout in the high heart rate range - decided i needed some intervals on the stair machine today (so i did my "intro to running routine" - 30 sec, 1 min, 1.5 min, 2 min, 1.5 min, 1 min - walk run) Got my heart rate high, funy thing - i was over my "range" so my time in range on my heart rate monitor was only 9 minutes, the rest was over! Too funny! I'm also trying to ramp up - i've added a couple more stair climbs this year! Portland and Seattle are back to back and they have a combo package where you only have to get donations for 1, and i'm doing chicago (willis tower) in november, and of course Denver and I might sign up for vegas again! Yup - got myself a little bit of an addiction to these stairs!

No alcohol during the week - made it! Didn't hook up with a friend so we stayed home, grilled up a couple of nice steaks (thin ny strip) and some knorr corn and bacon soup! Enjoy the weather and saw a rainbow!

So i ended the week lower than the beginning of the week, but .5 higher than yesterday, although my fat was down.. so maybe my upped strength training is working!

We have a "trailer" warning tonight - we'll be biking to that, camping tomorrow, with at least 1 hike planned around the lake, the rest is just enjoying some downtime, i've got 2 books packed! (by packed i meant sitting in a pile with the rest of the stuff that needs to go!)

Excited to see how my weekend goes and what control I can add in!
