Positive Day 3

Thursday, August 15, 2013

Being positive everyday is hard...throw in some rain and dang its sooo much harder! My neighbors and I were planning on a boot camp style workout this morning. Needless to say it wash a wash out! I NEEDED to run 3 miles(on my training schedule)!! Just the thought of 30 minutes straight on the dreadmill was enough to make me almost say NO! I did it. And a really skinny gal started running on the mill beside me about 5 minutes into my run. Now mind you there is a huge mirror in front of us!!! I started feeling humiliated but I stopped those feeling and upped my speed. I ended my 3 miler under 30 minutes. No PR but I havent committed to a good treadmill run in a long time! I actually commented to her that I was happy she was there to make to stay and run! She said the same! She said she was only going to do 2 miles and seen that I did 3 so she did another one! Ha!
I stayed and did some upper body. I am still wearing that sweat belt!

Rainy days I love to cook! I really wanted to make cupcakes with frosting! Instead I made granola bars!

And I swear I only had 1

Today I didnt let my inner hater come out during my run! And then I made my girls some homemade snacks. Those are 2 positives I am proud of.

I have missed positive days 1 & 2! Sparking slacker that I am.

Love this blog. I need to get back to trying to focus on the positives. It is easy with others, but with myself hard. Makes a difference though.

WTG kicking out the run and focusing on the positive. Lookin' fab and I want some of that granola:) Cute shirt btw. Can't believe how cold it has been. I could pull out a flannel. This mud run should be just lovely;/

Need to catch up on your other blogs. Boy, have you been bloggin' up a storm
