Benefits of a personal trainer

The last time I blogged was on November 2, 2009. Well I am back and better than ever. I am still exercising 6 days a week. But I took it one step further. I invested in ME by hiring a personal trainer. It was the best decision I could have ever made. Though I am old enough to be his Mom. He is very motivating and tough, which I absolutely love.

By having a personal trainer it has kept me on my game. I print out my weekly exercise and food journal from Sparkpeople for my trainer. It is so much easier than writing on the nutrition log he gave me. We review it weekly and make modifications as needed.

I have learned a few tricks by having a PT. One the importance of protein. It took me awhile to get there but I have increased my protein and the pounds have come off.

I am now down 16 lbs but it looks like 32 lbs because of the weight training. My trainer pushes me and though at the time I hate it. When I get dressed I love the way my clothes fit.
