A beautiful day of love and joy

Yesterday, August 12th was our 46th wedding anniversary. We began our day wishing each other Happy Anniversary and sharing a kiss. I went to my early morning yoga practice and a lovely swim at a friend's house. Then Spark time, a lovely long shower relishing the feel of the warm water showering over me.
Then a brief lunch and off to teach a chair yoga class with some joyous, appreciative seniors at a local retirement home. Back to share champagne that was a gift from a dear friend. My DH made reservations at a very special restaurant and let them know it was our anniversary. The dinner was incredible. www.baru66.com/cuisine
We chose the chef's choice of 4 proscuitto. Then a beautiful piece of steak with mushroom/truffle sauce. Dessert was a threesome, chocolate mousse, hazelnut ice cream, a meringue with homemade chocolate marshmallow drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup. Our coffee was served with a almond flour muffin with a chocolate covered blueberry in the middle.
I know what that sounds like a huge amount of food.... it wasn't, Each dish was a serving that had about 3-5 bites of tasty food prepared with care. There is a wonderful Sanskirt word: rasa which sort of means “essence,” “taste,” or “flavour,” literally “sap” or “juice”
The meal and my day was filled with rasa!
