Sometimes when we drop something, we have to get on our knees to search for it. The closer we get to the floor, the better chance we have of finding it. If we truly want to know how to make things right with God, we have to get on our knees and talk to Him and listen to Him. He gave us the ability to get on our knees and pray to Him. The closer we get to Him, the easier it will be find Him. If we want answers, they can be found on our knees. That is when we show God we love, trust and submit our lives to Him.
Ephesians 3:14 “When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we come to You today to let You know we love, trust and submit our lives to You. We know we can find You when we search for You. The closer we come to You, Lord, the better we will come to know You. Show us Your will today, Lord. Show us the direction we should take. Help us live for You and remember You in all things. We want the answers we find today, Lord, to be Your answers. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
When we don’t truly search for something, we won’t truly find it.
Putting our hope in God for the right answers is a good thing to do; however, we need to be sure we are praying and trusting in God as well.
The closer we get to God, the better we will understand what actions to take.
If we associate ourselves with the things of the world, we are asking the world to solve our problems rather than God.
If we want worldly things and worldly answers, we need to go into the world. If we want godly answers, we need to go to God.
If we want to be truly wise and find answers, we need to seek God.
Psalm 53:2 “God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.” (NLT)
