Time to move on

and get moving again towards good health.
Things have settled a bit so I'm going to take the opportunity to get my goals set and my eating back to super healthy. I miss exercising on a regular basis and I especially miss strength training. I haven't gained any weight but my weight shifted and I've lost a lot of the tone I had. Clothes are not fitting as they should.
Tomorrow I begin tracking everything again and weighing and measuring. I'm not relying on eyeballing it for now. I know if I want to lose weight, and I do, that I need to be vigilant about what I eat and the portions of same. I want to get to my goal weight and shape by the end of this year. That gives me 4 1/2 months to shed 30 lbs. I know I can do it. I also plan to quit smoking... again. I can't believe I went back after quitting for over 2 months. Weight loss begins in the kitchen. Exercise for me is enjoyment.... seeing my body toned, having energy to move about without that sluggish feeling. It also helps me sleep better. I'm planning to try some new things but will continue my dancing and zumba. Also in my effort to quit smoking I'll do what I was doing before... walking during my break times at work. I would take a 10 minute walk in the morning, a 30 minute walk during lunch and a 10 minute walk in the afternoon. It helped clear my head and it helped me not gain too much weight when I quit. I expect I will gain some weight but I'm going to be optimistic that I won't gain at all. Hey, it's possible!
Off for a good night's rest. Tomorrow is my time to move on!
