slowing down

I really thought I had made a blog entry - maybe not. Sometimes I get the blogging confused with the emails. Or maybe I typed it and forgot to hit post. In any case things have been moving at a lightening pace. I am trying to slow down this last week of summer. School starts on the 20th and no more lazy mornings. Kids will have to be woken up, dressed, lunches packed and shuttled to school.

I do have some things to look forward to. I have a 14K race on the 21st - and maybe a bike ride/lunch with my friends after :)

I am still running. I managed to get out 2 times last week and then Saturday morning for a long run of 6.2mi. Today hubby has to work a crazy 12 or 13 hours - so I will have to use the treadmill at the gym for my 45min. Normally I hate it, but maybe I can do a hill profile or some intervals to make it a little more bearable.
