#backontrack Day 10 and the first trial of Soy Flour Waffles.

10 days = 1 lb loss. I'll take it. It's progress.
Today was rough for Dylan and I. Nothing went quite right. It all makes sense again now that I'm back from the gym.
30min treadmill - 2 miles
15min elliptical
I came back and started experimented with the waffles.
I went will an almost fat free version. I put the dough in the pan, and it started spilling out EVERYWHERE once it was heated up. It made for a crispy, almost to the point of being hollow waffle. It tasted good that's the important part. If you don't grease the waffle iron, it will be impossible to get out. I didn't have to do that with my 3eggs, stick of butter recipe.
I'm about to try another version with a bit of oil. Hopefully that will make it more dense. It's going to add a bit of fat, but the texture of it may be better.
Update: Cut down on the baking powder a bit, and added half a teaspoon of oil. It didn't stick together well though. Maybe I didn't leave it in long enough, but it just crumbled when I tried to take it out the pan.
I'm going to have to keep experimenting until I find a consistency I like.
