Back on Track - Day 6...or is it 7?

Saturday, August 10, 2013

Okay, so yesterday was a real bad day. and this morning I was lying in bed thinking I had a big and important choice to make today, and this would be the most self-defining moment: will the old Tina win and I'd be back to my old ways today, throwing my hands in the air and giving in, or will the new Tina triumph, getting right back on track?

Well, this is about "back on track," and so here I am, I think, back on track. But my question, as you can see in the title, is whether this is day 6 or 7 of being back on track, because yesterday I most certainly was NOT back on track. Ah, but this is a a process, so I guess I'll call it day 7..

Anyway, in the middle of not exercising and eating way more of way too much bad food yesterday, I did manage to get most of my "out of the house" work done for the weekend, so today I get to pretty much stay home and putter. The best part of that is that DS will be off to spend the early part of the day at the beach with some relatives, and DH is in the middle of a very busy time at work so he'll be at the office for the same period, meaning I get to be HOME ALONE!!! Hopefully I won't have to fight off any bad guys, and will get a chance to just do what I need to with no one else in my way.. I equally hope that I won't have to fight off any figurative "bad guys" that might be calling my name from the "snack" cupboard. But I don't think so...

Here's to another day, where we always get another chance..

Way to go Tina for keeping it positive. I hope some of your puttering plans are outside in the fresh air.

Tina, you can do this! That is the right attitude to have today. You admit to your mistake and move on. Enjoy your "me time" and have a great day!!

Hang in there, Tina. It's a new day, clean start. I have to fight every day and MOST days I lose, but we must keep plugging away! emoticon
