Stuck in a Rut.

Thursday, August 08, 2013

Well, I'm into my second month of trying to lose weight, and so far have managed to lose only 4.5 pounds. Now don't get me wrong. I'd much rather weigh 4.5 pounds less, than be what I was before. Every little bit counts. I just know that it's time to move on, and work harder. While I've been eating less than I was, I've been neglecting to exercise, and that's been a major part of the problem. I know what I need to do to get more weight off. It's just a matter of doing it. The good thing is, I'm still in the mind set of wanting to lose weight. I'm still motivated to try. I just need to do it!

What do you do when you feel "stuck in a rut?" What helps you move forward?

Looking in my closets & seeing all the clothes that are either tight or don't fit is my motivation

weight comes off slow. It took me years of neglect to get to a BMI of 33 and a heart operation at 55. exactly 20 years. soooo I don't expect it to leave anytime soon... Keep at it and try not to cheat.
