A get away is planned.

Haven't blog for awhile but not much going on. We are taking a bus trip starting Monday for 6 days. Headed for Door County and Mackinaw Island. It will be so great to get away and relax.

I have been doing the exercises for my back and it is getting better. Some times feels good and other times the pain returns. But was told it would take time. November is when I go back for another x-ray to see how it is. I will not be bowling this winter, they start the end of August and I just don't think I will be ready. Doctor says I can try it but hubby says no. Give myself time to get back to good strength and then the next year can do it. Told the girls so will have to just go visit them some nights. It will make for a long winter.

I seem to not be able to loss but at least I am not gaining. I bounce around from 172 to 175 but at least it is not the 200s where I started. Maybe the body is saying "I like it here". Who knows but I am not letting it get me down. I have learned to love myself and that I come first.

    You are not gaining so that is great!! I think it is wise to continue to heal so you don't injure yourself and then you can concentrate on upping the exercise once you are completely healed. I'm sure the girls will be just as happy if you come to the alleys to visit!! Enjoy your trip! emoticon

    Glad to hear your recovery is progressing well, and it's allowing you to do some fun things.

    I wouldn't worry too much about losing right now - I think maintaining is excellent considering the other physical demands you have right now.

    That sounds like a great getaway. Beautiful sights, good for the soul. And you'll especially enjoy it since you are now comfortable in your own skin. Sounds fabulous!
