Got back from Madison very late last night.
I wish I could say this trip was perfect in terms of exercise and diet, but it wasn't. I won't spend much time whining or expressing remorse. We've all been there. Just gotta get back to normal routine.
I did get a run in on Monday night but exercise on Tuesday night was a no-go because it was the conference "dinner" and yesterday evening was spent traveling back home. By Tuesday evening I was totally off diet. I wasn't eating monstrously bad, but definitely higher calories (the food given to me had oil, sugar, etc) and none of the food was even that tasty. By yesterday afternoon, I wasn't even trying anymore. It's was just one of those things where the food fight was not worth keeping up in conjunction with coping with other aspects. So I took a hit to my diet for a couple of days and now moving on.
Tonight, I run. And run and run and run.
